What is a prayer rope?

A prayer rope is an ancient prayer tool designed to help you communicate with God wherever you are.
Its origins are founded in Christian prayer and in the divinely revealed method of tying seven interwoven crosses within each knot, which you can learn more about in our About section.
Do you have to be a Christian to have or use a prayer rope?

Anyone can have a prayer rope! It is a reminder of the presence of God, and a tool to bring your awareness to Him. Whether you are a Christian or just inquiring, we encourage you to explore the history and prayers associated with the rope as well, to see its use in forming and living out the Christian faith.
Do I have to pray on each knot?

Traditionally, the goal of the prayer rope is to act as a tool that helps you bring your focus to your prayer, and to your conversation with God, incorporating prayers over each knot.
While there are specific prayers attached to this tool, you may find simply wearing it as a bracelet, holding it, or keeping it with you reminds you of God’s presence and the need to pray, which is ultimately the goal of its use!
Do you encourage praying the traditional prayers over the knots?

What makes your prayer ropes different from others?

While I follow the traditional method for crafting prayer ropes, (seven interwoven crosses in each knot), utilizing 100% wool and tying them in prayer, I also strive to make them unique by forming specific scriptural themes and images around each rope..
Our prayer ropes are not only meant to be tools for use in your prayers, but also meant to call you to pray, to inspire and encourage you in seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus.
